about

Ekosi Productions focuses on sharing Indigenous, women and LGBT2Q+ scripted and unscripted stories to Canadian and international markets and is headquartered on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation), also known as Vancouver BC.

Ekosi  (ᐁᑯᓯ) - a Cree word which roughly translates to “that’s it” or “truth.” It's often used to indicate a finality or completion, similar to saying "amen" in English. While "ekosi" isn't a direct equivalent to "thank you" in Cree, it can be used in a similar context.
